Founded by Ludovic Habas, CG.Studio emerged from the evolution of CG-Animation, which was established through a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2014. In its early days, the company specialized in developing technical tools for 3D animation and character rigging. Our innovative solutions quickly attracted a wide range of clients and renowned studios, including Orange-cg, Ankama, TNZPV…
These fruitful collaborations allowed CG-Animation to build a strong reputation in the industry, expanding its skills and expertise to become CG.Studio. Today, CG.Studio is a full-fledged 3D animation studio, involved in every stage of a 3D production. Located in the heart of the Alps in Annecy, our company collaborates with prestigious international clients such as Jaeger Lecoultre or Hublot in Switzerland, Mighty Nice in Australia, Nexus Studio in the United Kingdom or Snowball VFX in Israel…

A graduate of the former SUPINFOCOM, my artistic journey has led me to co-direct several acclaimed short films. My first short film, “Watch the Ground,” explores the theme of self-sacrifice in sports. My graduation film, “Douce Menace,” is an allegory set in Paris. I also co-directed “Rubika,” a short film broadcast on Canal+, which has won multiple awards at various animation festivals. After earning my degree and completing several internships, I began my career as a technical director at the luxury advertising studio Le-Truc in Geneva.
After five years of experience, my passion and unwavering commitment to the field of animation, along with my desire to engage young audiences, led me to create CG.Studio. With this studio, I aimed to focus part of my work on animated films for children. To date, I have contributed to the success of numerous television series for young audiences, music videos, and short films.
In 2014, when Julien Deparis contacted me with the opportunity to teach at the internationally renowned MOPA school, I seized the chance immediately. It was a dream opportunity for me to share my passion with others.
For over 10 years, I have been teaching 3D at MOPA, where I provide courses in introductory 3D, rigging, and special effects. I also ensure the technical supervision of films by second- and third-year students. My role as an educator allows me to guide students through the complexities of 3D animation, enabling them to acquire the skills necessary to excel in the industry.
My commitment to education has also led me to share my knowledge at other prestigious institutions such as ENSI, Brassart Grenoble, Brassart Annecy, and in adult education at the Greta de Marseille. I have had the privilege of initiating and training over 1000 students in 3D across these various schools.
My dedication to animation and education continues to motivate me every day to share my knowledge and inspire the next generation of 3D artists.
